Join the Constitution Party in its work to restore our government to its Constitutional limits and our law to its Biblical foundations.

Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:

1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.

Integrity Seperates CP From Rest   by William H. Smith, II - Chairman BCCP 

At the CP national convention last month, my party as a whole, separated itself form the rest by leaps and bounds.

I was so impressed with the integrity that our delegates showed, by voting - almost 3 to 1 - to nominate Chuck Baldwin as our candidate for the President of these states which are united.  Mr. Baldwin is clearly the right man to represent the Constitution Party in this most critical election.  It would have been no surprise to me if Alan Keyes had won the nomination. He was the “Washington insider” who Ronald Reagan spoke so highly of.  He obviously brought name recognition to the table and would’ve put the Constitution Party “on the map.”

Mr. Baldwin has a huge advantage over Mr. Keyes, he expects the Constitution to be followed, no excuses.  He understands the saying, absolute power corrupts absolutely.“  Mr. Baldwin is not someone who “switched teams” when he saw the truth, or took all he could from another party, he has stood firm for years on the platform of the Constitution Party.

The bottom line is, our party delegates were not swayed with the temptation of voting on popularity, they stuck with the platform and voted accordingly. KUDOS!

I, for one, am so proud, now more than ever before, to be a card carrying member. 

 

 

The Virginia Institute for Public Policy & Citizens Against Government Waste 

It took the state government in Virginia 386 years to reach a $30 billion biennial budget.  It has only taken the last 10 years to add a second $30 billion to that budget.

During this decade, the Commonwealth of Virginia’s budget has experienced an average growth of 16 percent with every two-year budget.  General fund spending alone increased more than 85 percent from 1997 to 2006.  If these rates of growth continue, the biennial budget for 2012 2014 will be more than $110 billion.  more...
